Advanced Pistol Marksmanship places a heavy emphasis on process oriented technical marksmanship to solve various marksmanship challenges. The goal of this course is to take the shooter through a series of logically organized problems, and equip the shooter with the ability to solve them. This is a one-day program.
Advanced Pistol Marksmanship
The one-day Advanced Pistol Marksmanship course is for a shooter who wants to become faster and more accurate for defensive or competitive shooting. This course places a heavy emphasis on process oriented technical marksmanship to solve various marksmanship challenges. The goal of this course is to take the shooter through a series of logically organized problems, and equip the shooter with the ability to solve them. This has been described as a very mentally challenging course that pays a dividend in overall technical skills.
This is the one-day version of this advanced level course.

Class size: Limited to 16 students.
Tuition: $235 paid directly to SIG Sauer Academy when you register at the Academy’s website.

Ammunition: Round count for program will be approximately 600 – 800 rounds

Where to Stay
The Academy has special rate arrangements with three local hotels, all within 15 minutes of the Academy.
To ensure you receive our arranged rate, please be sure to reference “SIG SAUER Corporate rate” when making your reservations. OpSpec Training strongly suggests you contact your hotel to make reservations by phone as soon as possible.
Food at Lunch Break
To ensure you get the most “bang for your buck” we try to keep lunch breaks as short as possible (one hour). If you have the ability to bring your lunch, we you may do so. Fast food options are located less than 10 minutes away near the intersection of Route 101 and Route 125.
Prerequisites
This is not a basic class. At minimum, students should have taken a basic handgun safety course and have experience with their firearm and gear. We expect students to have experience shooting on a line in a safe manner, including loading, reloading and shooting from the holster. Shooters with IDPA, USPSA, NRA Action Pistol, 3-Gun, law enforcement and military experience meet program prerequisites.
Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training.
