Description
If you’re an intermediate shooter, competitor, or law enforcement officer looking to improve your pistol skills at speed, the three-day Applied Fundamentals is the accelerated program for you. The class focuses on mental planning as a method to run your handgun at speed in a variety of conditions.
You’ll be shooting 1,300 to 1,500 rounds during the intensive three-day program. This is not a course for a beginner.
Applied Fundamentals
The goal of Applied Fundaments is to take the building blocks shooters have learned in Practical Fundamentals or other trigger control-based programs and learn to apply those skills methodically to solve shooting problems.

Food at Lunch Break
To ensure you get the most “bang for your buck” lunch breaks are one hour. That does not provide enough time for a leisurely lunch, but you can head to a Subway located about 12 minutes away, or you can bring your own lunch. There are many choices for food in Stockton, but that would be a 20 to 25 minute drive one-way.
Prerequisites
This is not a basic class. At minimum, students should have taken a basic handgun safety course and have experience with their firearm and gear. We expect students to have experience shooting on a line in a safe manner, including loading, reloading and drawing/shooting from the holster. Shooters with IDPA, USPSA, NRA Action Pistol, 3-Gun, law enforcement and military experience meet the program prerequisites.
