Description
MOAC (Rifle)
MOAC–R is a four day, 32-hour rifle course built upon the same winning concepts as MOAC (Pistol). MOAC–R is a high round count course designed to take the intermediate shooter and provide them with the tools to become an advanced or expert shooter. OpSpec Training alumni frequently request a long-duration program – building upon our pistol MOAC course – designed to enforce and develop persistent, durable skills. MOAC develops these skills through repetition and process oriented marksmanship.
You’ll be shooting approximately 2,500 rounds during the intensive four-day program. This is not a course for a beginner.

Students should have had intermediate level carbine training from accredited reliable instructors in the past. Students should be able to, on demand, perform basic manipulations on their 5.56mm Carbine or Pistol Caliber Carbine including but not limited to: loading and unloading, malfunction clearing, basic maintenance, intermediate to advanced marksmanship drills, etc.
Students should bring a quality AR/SCAR/MCX rifle chamber in 5.56/.223 equipped sight, or a modern pistol caliber carbine (PCC) with sling and quality red dot.
If the student decides to bring a home-made AR, an AR from a less than quality manufacturer, or a 5.56mm rifle of a non AR-15 pattern, the student will be responsible for any problems they encounter. The line will not be held during any problems encountered with substandard equipment.
